Trainer

Based on the experience of aspirant Trainers and the score obtained in the Trainer assessment for both Domain and TVET Qualifications , they are given certificate under following conditions:

Certified Trainer

  • 2 years of work/training experience in the respective Domain /Job Role
  • 80% marks in Domain/Job role assessment
  • 80% marks in TVET assessment
  • Type of Certification
  • Basic: Certificate valid for 2 years; [ Generated and downloadable from NSDCs’ SIP ( Skill India Portal)]
  • - Trainer Grade: B ( 80%-89%)
  • - Trainer Grade: A ( =>90% )
  • Advanced: Certificate for lifetime validity [ Generated and downloadable from NSDCs’ SIP ( Skill India Portal)] (To be enabled)
    (Lifetime validity: Certified Trainers who appear for an On-The-Job training component consisting of 6 assignment submissions, across a maximum 15-week period. The assignments of the trainer/assessor are evaluated by the Master Trainer and one-to-one feedback and mentorship support is provided during the OJT period. The final assignments are presented before an independent Certification Committee for final approval. All trainers who successfully clear this program are awarded a certificate with lifetime validity (with refresher courses as per the requirements of the job role).

Master Trainer

Certification of Master Trainers are awarded under the below mentioned categories as appropriate:

Category A
(Green Channel)

  • 5 years of work/training experience w.r.t. the Qualification/Job Role
  • 200 hours of training experience w.r.t. the Qualification you're applying for
  • Minimum score of 80% in IT-ITeS SSC internal evaluation
  • Certificate is valid for 2 years. [Generated and downloadable from NSDCs’ SIP (Skill India Portal)]

Category B
(Green Channel)

  • 3 years of work/training experience w.r.t. the Qualification/Job Role
  • 200 hours of training experience w.r.t. the Qualification/ you're applying for
  • Contributor to at least one IT-ITeS SSC Qualification courseware
  • Minimum score of 80% in IT-ITeS SSC internal evaluation
  • Certificate is valid for 2 years. [Generated and downloadable from NSDCs’ SIP (Skill India Portal)]

Category C
(as per NSDC/NCVET)

  • 3 years of work/training experience w.r.t. the Qualification/Job Role
  • 90% marks achieved independently , both in TVET and Qualification assessments
  • Certificate is valid for 2years. [Generated and downloadable from NSDCs’ SIP (Skill India Portal)]

Train the Trainer Program

Train the Trainer (TTT) program is launched to enhance the quality of existing trainers involved in Qualification based courses. TTT is conducted at predefined locations of IT-ITeS SSC Affiliated TTT Agencies/ Partner/s (announced in advance)Link to the TTT Callender. If case of addition TTT to be conducted which is not as per the TTT calendar you are quested to get in touch with ssc@nasscom.in

A Training Partner can also create a pool of the local trainers for TTT at its location with a IT-ITeS SSC Master Trainer w.r.t. the Qualification concerned. Master Trainer travels to the location ( as applicable) of the requesting Training Partner as per their mutual agreement.
